No work til Jan 4!

I'm going to rub it in a little and celebrate my holiday that last until Jan, 4!!! Ahhhh I love it. I woke up all happy and relexad, took a scalding hot shower til my skin turned all pink, and then luxuriated in taking as much time as I wanted to get ready.

What I'm getting ready for: lunch with an old friend and then shopping, since I've managed to procrastinate. I have like 6 gifts purchased. That's it. I gotta get cracking today.

Weird thing: I used to date (very briefly, and somewhat foolishly) this very sweet, uber-nerdy Swede who has affectionately (or maybe not so affectionately?) earned the nickname NasKarl, because he's as boring as watching NASCAR. They drive in circles! Paint dries faster than the race lasts and holds my interest longer. Anyway, NasKarl and I broke it off (my idea) and he's continued to say hello every now and then. Sweet guy, no problem with this, but still... enough is enough. He knows I have a BF that I intend to keep. So he Facebooks me the other day and I ignore the friend request. I get another one... I ignored it. If I get a third I think I'll send him a polite message. I'm glad he's friends with all his exes but I don't think I need to join that party.

XBOX news: I am buying microsoft points for my famiy members for stocking stuffers (my sister in law will get a Barnes and Noble card instead... she hates XBOX... come to think of it, I'm not sure why she and my brother are married. She must have a magic va-J-J to keep him interested, given that she's such a wank). I should be nicer but she makes it so hard. A long lunch with her is taxing. So for Matt I ordered Borderlands and BioShock 2. I cannot wait for the new one to come out!!! Ugh! 2012? Why even tantalize us with the trailers yet? It's just cruel. On Braid I finally got all 8 stars and finished the game. Still don't have 100% completion, because I haven't finished the timed runs. YOu have to be absolutely spot on, else you're screwed. I'm working on it. Still trying to knock out Limbo. Any hints on how not to be jacktarded and get killed on the last level would be appreciated. I get SO CLOSE!! Threw the controller more than once. I now have a new one. So does Matt. (He broke that one, we blame Super Meat Boy level 5-7 warp.)

Must get all prettied up before seeing my friend. She always looks like a million bucks. I'll be satisfied with looking like a rumpled $20. :-P Cheers!
