You won't believe what I found!

It's been fast paced but school is off and rolling smoothly enough, and it seems to be a really strong start. I'm up almost 20 kids more in my enrollment this year so that's both awesome and challenging. I'll take it.

I bought DeathSpank: The Baconing. It seemed like a worthy game, based on my previous experiences with DS and with the trial, and so far it's aces. :)

Time for the score of the day: I was at my local 7-11 buying The Elixir of Life (diet coke) and saw Xbox360 games at the register marked for $9.99. They were: Ghostbusters, Lego Indiana Jones, BioShock 2, Terminator (3 I think), Call of Duty Modern Wardare 2, and Batman: Arkham Asylum. $9.99!!!!! I've played each of these games except Terminator, but I only own 2 of them, so I bought Call of Duty and Batman (just shipped my rental back to Game Fly). I bought BioShock 2 for Matt, but decided against Ghostbusters. So it was probably the best shopping I may have ever done when it comes to good deals. I'm thrilled!

I wondered if they were stolen or damaged or not full games, but 1) they're on the counter at the 7-11, 2) they're wrapped in plastic and seem to have come with all the bits and pieces inside the box and 3) they're full games, and not knock off copies or something horrible and probably Chinese made (no offense to the Chinese intended). I called my brother and said to go to your local 7-11 and see what they have! His had nothing. I went to another one in my neighborhood and they had nothing either. I just got real lucky I guess. :)

Tonight is a big party at my friend's house and I've been asked to cater it. I have to be there in an hour and a half so I better get cooking.
