Getting on that time of year...

So yeah...
I'm not a blog whore by any means. My days tend to run together in a blur... Wake up, feed, get the boy off to school, mend some fence, beat some bucks into submission. Maybe come in for lunch, back out and find something that needs fixing. Get the boy from school, feed again, and fix dinner for my clan.
Not what I would consider blog-worthy, not that I know what that is. Essentially, it is pretty goddamn boring. You should thank me for not going into it on a daily basis.

I think that my years out here in isolation have left me a little anti-social, funny when you think about it, an anti-social blogger, on a social networking site no less. Hell, I go weeks w/out seeing anybody but my family and my son's bus driver. Yeah, I can see folks driving by, cars and trucks no bigger than ants. Come to think of it, I was anti-social b4 I moved out here, probably why I did.

I digress, I did have something on my mind other than making excuses as to why I'm not blogging away w/ the rest of you.

So yeah, holidays are upon us. A wonderful time of year for me. The Ex comes out of hiding, from whatever rat hole she had sequestered herself into for the last nine months. Suddenly the holidays are here and she remembers that she is a mom. Yeeaaa!!!! good for her. Must be convenient to be a holiday parent. I suppose that's not entirely true, she has an older boy from her previous (ie. b4 me). That boy is just as broken as his mother, which is saying something. I tried getting him help and even went so far as getting the state involved, it is good to see my tax dollars so hard at work. The Ex must have sweet talked them good, case was closed in a matter of weeks... no resolution.

So now I am just waiting for that call two or three days b4 Thanksgiving and X-mas, demanding that I drop whatever plans I have so that she can be a perfect mom for the holidays and drag my boy to her family's gathering. Then the fighting will ensue, cause I'll be like, "...Nah."
And she'll be like, "You can't stop me from seeing my son!"
And I'll be like, "...Yeah."
And she'll be like, "I'm calling the police and we're going to court!!" *click* dial tone
And I'll be like, "...Sweet."

I've heard this threat to many times to count, so I'm not overly concerned that the men in blue will be appearing on my porch any time soon. However, I've been ready for my day in court for the last two years. Maybe one of these years I'll give her that court date for x-mas.

So yeah, very special time of the year here at the FallnSaint household. Hope everybody's holidays are just as special.
