ok, This morning I woke up with cravings from hell.  Seriously, I took my daughter o nursery at 8am this morning and wanted a debate with one of the staff there over something stupid.  My horns are starting to grow and I think Im gona turn into an evil bastard that will propbably be divorced by the end of it.

The smallest things are stressing me the fuck out.  People really dont wanna get on the wrong side of me today.  I went to the chemist also to get some Nicorettes or something.  Fuck me I looked at the price and its cheaper to fucking smoke.  I am doing this without any help at all on the medical side and am starting to think if I am doing the right thing without the help.  Is the last sentence just an excuse to start smoking again until I get help?  Oh, fuck people, I am not liking this at all.

I might even do a video blog so you can see what Im going through.  If I do then ill link it here.

Yeah quitting smoking sucks. Are you doing it alone? My fiance and I have been trying to quit for a while. Its definitely a process and we do break down on occasion. We support each other and we have actually been trying to keep a steady jogging regiment. Instead of a weeks worth of smokes I picked up an ipod shuffle and started running. Once you feel that burn in your chest you can look back on that feeling everytime you think you need a smoke. Fortunately the burn doesnt last. The first two times I went (one day apart) were rough but you can actually feel the progress. Just a suggestion of what seems to be working for me. Of course, Ill probably grab a pack tonight now that it is going to rain all weekend....just kidding...I hope.

One thing to keep in mind, smoking reduces the effects of caffeine, so drink less coffee and soda, to help that. Also the fastest way to get the drugs out of your system is to drink lots and lots of water...one thing I did was keep gum and a glass of water at my desk, so I could keep drinking water...then I would take walks for 15-20 minutes whenever I got really pissed at folks.

One very important thing to keep in mind is that your current cravings and pain will abate and eventually you will be mostly over them. Keep in mind though, that if you smoke a cigarette you will have to go through this *again*. Embrace the pain and use it as a tool to keep you clean. Every time I start to think that it might be nice to have a cigar or a quick smoke, I remember how I felt after and I realize it just is not worth it for the 10 minutes of fun I might get out of it now.
