I like seeing some rare or unusual aircraft that people own and here's one you probably haven't seen too often. It's a Fairchild PT-19 pilot training airplane built in 1943. It was used as a basic flight school trainer before pilots went on to train on the specific aircraft they would eventually fly. The Fairchild was designed to fly more like a combat plane with a low mount wing as opposed to the high mount wing.
This aircraft was in excellent condition and the pilot was offering rides. Unfortunantly, I couldn't afford to take a flight that day. I like seeing the old doped canvas/ wood/ open cockpit planes still buzzing around.
