I posted something about Game of Thrones the video game a little while back.  I haven't seen anything posted here about it and now, since it has been released,  I decided to give my impressions and give a quasi review.

No, not me. It's the pop up add I get on this site. Everytime I log on there's this little add on the right hand side featuring the photo of an extremely attractive young woman asking if I would like to meet her and lucky me, she's only 3.5 miles from where I live!!!

I came across a news release for the video game Game of Thrones which is scheduled for release on Xbox (and PS3)   this on the interwebs yesterday. Its based on the George R.R. Martin book series A Song of Ice and Fire and the HBO series. Yes, I know, you knew that already. But, for those who might not have known it gives them a refernce point. The  release mentioned it comes out in May 2012.

Had a meeting the other day and as part of it, we were required to partake in a wonderful little presentation about something called a Continued Offsite Operation Plan which was the brainchild of FEMA or Homeland Security so you know it had to be top notch.Basically, in the event of a major catastrophe, there should be a contingency plan for various organizations to continue to function and provide services. So, when all hell breaks loose you can work off site and not have to take a personal day or blow off coming in to work. Sounds good, right?

This weekend marks the four year anniversary of the Porkchop Platton or PCP, as it's more commonly  known.  For the newer people on 2old2play, it was a clan that use to be on this site, but moved on after a bitter divorce.

I like Kevin Smith movies. There I said it.  Mr. Smith reccently released a movie he wrote and directed called "Red State". The noteworthy thing is he chose to go direct distribution instead of getting a studio to get behind it, he got the funding himself , made the movie and distributed it through his own company. He made the movie for approximaltely 4 million dollars. He had the film in limited release with some Q&A afterward then went to on demand and DVD release. I had heard that this was not the typical Kevin Smith movie.

We had an earthquake in Virginia yesterday.  I know the west coasties are less than impressed, but it has been 140 years since the last major earthquake occured here so for us, it was an event. The local news stations were doing there best to gin up some drama with teasers such as, "are our nuclear power plants safe?"  (Yes) and reporting that emergency crews were doing damage assesments. (look Junior, some bricks fell off a chimney!!!) 

Well, I noticed once again, four new blog posts for some Chinese knock off crap you probably don't want or need so I thought, "Why not bump them one with an update from the black sheep clan  (if you're a black sheep, relax, it's just a saying)

Well, its been a while since I stunk up the blog zone with my prattle, but that doesn't mean I don't check out others blog posts daily  to see what is transpiring in  the 2old2play multiverse. Today  I see the infamous multiple  "no pic" icons in the top seven blog posts. Yet again, another spamshit has slithered up out of the muck of the interswamp to hawk knock off purses, shoes or other assorted sweatshop tripe clevelrly hidden amongst rambling blocks of text copy pasted from other sources.  So I ask this; does anyone actually buy this stuff when it's posted here?
