So I've been playing the guitar for the last few days.  Nothing spectacular, so far I can play Frère Jacques, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Happy Birthday and the first half of  Bach's Minuet.  Not exactly my kind of music, but hey you gotta crawl before you can walk.

When it comes to Rocksmith...I'm terrible lol.  The game never lets up.  As soon as I start to get comfortable with a song it's all "Oh you think you're hot shit huh?  Try and play these notes then asshole."  Then I turn into a retarded monkey trying to figure out how to get my cock into the football.  Still I'm having fun and learning at the same time, plus my oldest son (3) is already showing an interest.

Hey dude. Give me a shout if you need or want any pointers. I'm always glad to see someone pick up the guitar. I've got lots of good free online resources I can point you towards.

I'm really interested in this game, but I am trying to refrain for a bit longer. Hoping for a price drop since Xmas is over. Maybe one more month.

For what it's worth, I got my copy for $59 from Amazon instead of $79. The included cable cost $30 by itself, so that's not a bad deal.
