So I unwrapped a set of these this morning:

I got them set up and tested them out. They're frickin' awesome. It's going to take some getting used to since now I actually have to get on the brakes like I would in a real car. Here's a quick video of me trying them out.

I also treated myself to the shifter mount for my Playseat. I'll need to modify it slightly to get it to work with the Fanatec shifter since it was designed for the Logitech G25/27 shifter but it should be pretty easy to do. I'm in the process of overhauling the entire rig. Since we're having another kid I had to move it out of the spare bedroom and into an area where it is much more visible. Now my wife wants it to look nice and be baby proof. Needless to say it aint easy to hide this many wires. I'll try and post some pics of the work in progress as I put it together (starting with the shifter and pedals).

That is sweet! I hope that Forza 4 brings the magic back to the driving, because in my opinion the franchise is going downhill and the best Forza is still the very first one... Needless to say I'm not holding my breath. Merry Christmas and may your wife have a troublefree pregnancy!

It must be amazing to play with that much depth. I'll bet that your rig would even make Ridge Racer fun.
