I don't know when is the past, but in the past, I liked alt rock, 97 the edge radio station supreme.  And then... i still liked it, and maybe it was due dilligence but I got in touch and fondled the classic rock.  The Beatles, Zeppelin, and everyone else.  This is dismissing my first brush with rap, which was more peer pressure than proper preening.

Now I reallize some modern dance music, some rap, and jazz, all this stuff can but is not neccesarily good.  Ecclectic is probably misspeltttt, but is the way of the future my friend.

Maybe it's that I'm self hating and consider country the new american wave, but fuck country with a double headed platinum dildoe with ridges for her pain and all other sorts of grotesque mutilatory things (all said in jest as a metaphor.)  I fucking mean it, a metaphor.  Not just the grotesque chauvanist jaunt that you think this may be, it is that as a method of proving a view on a truly inhumane thing such as country music.

Back to reality, oops there goes gravity, folksy stuff can be very good.  I suppose a list of shit would let those who peruse find some satisfaction in my specificities.  But you don't get a list.

Ok, Hate death sad metal scream-o retribution type punks, let's hear what you listen to.  I want to hear some band that you think I should have heard of and then another that is in the same vain but below the surface, like a vein.

Oh and more than 0 posts as replies to this would really help my skeet cred.

I only listen to 2 Live Crew. Nonstop, 24/7. When I am not playing it, it is on repeat in my brain.

ah music. I listen to a pretty wide range of music. Metal, techno, orchestral.....not country or new rap though. I'll take Run DMC over any of these new punks any day. But some bands I listen to: Mastodon, Celldweller, Daft Punk, Gnarls Barkley, Gorillaz, Gothminister, Sirenia, Maximum the Hormone, Cage the Elephant, Weezer, KMFDM, 30 Seconds to Mars, Radiohead, The Prodigy, Justice, DJ Tiesto, Hypocrisy, Dr. Steel....and many many many many more.

Metal in all forms, I do like the different branches that have developed over the last 30 years. Not to say some of the hard rock isn't good. Check out "Clutch" they do the TV spot for L4D2. Country SUCKS, though I'm not as likely to form a lynch mob when I hear a "Twang" All in all, any song that sounds good is OK with me regardless of genre.
