What a good boy he is, she is such a good girl. Just like their mother or father, they even look like them too. Would you do it all over again? Yes most of you would, yes I would... as a different person. Your child is that other person, they are you but better because they aren't you. It's really not a negative thing overall, infact propgation of the master species is pretty comforting isn't it? It isn't your WILL going forward though, people I am with you, I would like to believe that it is your will ad infinitum, but it is not. Will is such a trivial thing when you aren't there problem solving yourself. Maybe you try to WILL your kid to be smart, but shit if drugs is they bag then why not let them be good at it? Suffering at the hands of the law is thought to be so much worse than suffering at the hands of popular opinion.
This website is a niche and we all approve of eachother here (maybe.) Drugs as an example can be bad for your health like EVERYTHING, and they can be addictive like many things, and because they aren't popular they also are directly associated with the criminal element. If drugs weren't so BAD, they wouldn't be so bad.
Mexico for example decriminalized small ammounts of drugs including marijuana, cocaine, and heroin. They aren't the first country, maybe it was Portugal that I had read about; but guess what happened and what will happen south of the U.S. border? Drug use will stay at a similar use as it has always been, but admitting and quitting will become more reasonable, and prosecution will look out for the dealers. Crime overall won't jump. I'm not supporting drug use, but I am using it as a model of acceptance for ways of life which are not popular.
What can I say more other than I fight for the little guy?
