I'm talking to you, Cryptic and Caesar.

Within the last 3 weeks (and mostly on Christmas day) I've accumulated the following games/add-ons:
Call of Duty: Black Ops
Kinect Sports
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Undead Nightmare (for RDR)
GoldenEye
Back to the Future Episode 1

Two others (Rock Band 3 and DC Universe Online) are at the top of my Must Buy list but I was holding off until I at least made a dent in the other games. I still haven't even touched Undead Nightmare, Kinect Sports or GoldenEye. But considering I spend more time reading blogs than doing just about anything else on the site, I succumbed to the peer pressure of everybody playing Rock Band 3 and picked it up last night. I tooled around for a couple minutes in the game and created my band (still need a cool name - they rejected my preferred band name of Jesus Chrysler Supercar). Moments before my son had a potty accident and needed to be cleaned up and put to bed, CrypticCat sent me a group invite.

I've been gone for so long from Xbox Live that I completely forgot about my Gold subscription, which expired months ago. I gave my last Free Month card to another site member in need a few months back. I know I have at least one 48-hour trial card laying around somewhere (I think I saw it in the CoD:BO case) so I can plug that in to get me going, until Wednesday at least. Moving forward I may just grab a 3-month card from Best Buy until I can find an online deal for a year subscription. Still, between the game and the next 3 months that still puts me out $75.

I hate you all. And I look forward to playing with you.

Oh, with a bit of luck I can buy myself the Madcatz pro-guitar next month (if budget allows, it's touch and go right now). Wait till I start blogging about that! And yes, I hope to jam out with you soon!

I may pick up the keyboard at some point in the future but I'll probably avoid the pro instruments. My schedule is usually so hectic and with a baby on the way I'm looking at all game purchases as short term investments, and the pro guitar is a hell of an investment!

it depends, if you want to be leet and go for the Squire, it'll set you back 300$. Yeah, right. If you go for the Madcatz Mustang then you're suddenly talking about a guitar that's as expensive as two release-day games for the 360... 130$. Since I'm know to buy 2 new games in one buy, I don't see why would not buy the Mustang. The only thing holding me back is that I don't really how next will be looking like... I has teh frugalz!

That last sentence is totally fucked up. I should go to bed. What I meant to say was: I don't know how next month will be like. (budget wise)

Put everything down and load up Batman:AA. Play that until your eyes bleed. Easily the best game you listed.

EDIT (because I can't edit the original blog on my phone): I found another one month card from the last time my 360 RROD'ed. It's on now, bitches.
