Work has been brutal the last few weeks (for good reasons though - the near future looks very promising for my career) and I also took a much-needed vacation. My family, including my wife's parents, went to Cancun for a week where I gained 10 pounds and spent many hours a day sucking down Dos Equis by the pool.
I've also been dealing with a very demanding baby. He's 9 months old now and very needy, and screams louder than I thought a baby could ever possibly scream, the moment he is not being held.
In January I started playing Star Wars: The Old Republic and really enjoyed the game. As things got crazy in my life, though, I went literally three weeks at one point without even powering up my gaming PC. Realizing I'm paying for the time I'm not using, and as much as I like the game, I had to cancel my subscription. I did manage to find an hour to play Red Dead Redemption - another game that's amazing but I just couldn't find the time to play, but at least I don't have to maintain (and pay for) a subscription.
I did manage to find a bit of time last weekend to put together a doodle. Since my first son was born i've wanted to get a tattoo. One member of the site (who has been inactive for quite some time now) is a tattoo artist, and I spoke to him about designing an ambigram with my son's name. He never came through and since then, my second son was born, so last weekend I started doodling my own ambigram design. Came up with a design I was happy with in about an hour and a half:
One angle (Tyler):
Another angle (Gavin):
A lot of credit goes to the tattoo artist for turning it from a doodle into a "real" tattoo.

I don't have enough patience to design an abigram. Good job.
