Roughly 30 minutes after I posted yesterday's blog, a street performer by the name of Vermin Supreme showed up across the street with a megaphone and wearing a boot on his head. Over the course of the next 15 minutes, the crowd around him grew and grew until there was no more room on the sidewalk - eventually the crowd had poured out onto the street and was impeding traffic. I was amazed that such a huge crowd of people would form for a street performer, until.......

Being that my office is on street level, I am always peeking outside to see what's going on. Around 2:30 or 3:00, a tour bus, painted with patriotic slogans and pictures of the American flag, stops in the middle of the road across the street from my office (the above picture was taken from in front of my office, as the bus was leaving later).

Being the nosy person I am, I immediately grabbed the camera phone and ran outside. The bus belonged to John Edwards' campaign and judging by the crowd outside, he was on that bus. Another half dozen of my coworkers stopped working and left their desks to come outside. Eventually he got off the bus and briskly walked into the building across the street.

I would have tried to get a better picture but I was wearing an expensive suit and didn't want to accidentally rub it against liberals.

Dennis Kucinich also drove by about 5 minutes after the Edwards bus left, but he didn't stop on my road.

A bit later I drove home, stopped on the way to cast my vote, and the political machine eventually left New Hampshire overnight. My drive to work was nice - except for the mountains of snow everywhere, things seem to be back to normal.

I voted Ron Paul. His platform is in line with my own beliefs, plus I like to support the little guy (because let's not kid ourselves, he doesn't have much of a chance against McCain).

Just a minority of people are waking up. The rest of the nation are just sheep. http://youtube.com/watch?v=9KVTfcAyYGg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8teEHdCrFqE http://youtube.com/watch?v=sxe3sZt_c_w

Yeah, you wouldn't want to get any compassion or progressive thought on your suit, that'd be horrible.:)JOKE!Congrats, tho, on throwing your vote away on Dr.Paul.I like his respect for the Constitution and some of his ideas, but some of his plans wouldn't work and are kind of nutty.Nice pics and write-up!

@Deman: I was actually considering voting for Mike Gravel. The guy is a complete space cadet, I think he got less than 100 votes from the whole state, but even real nutbars need supporters!
