Name? "No clue." Description of the subject? "About 4 feet tall, furry, looks like a husky/shepard mix."
Several months back, we saw this dog for the first time when she came barreling around the side of the house while my neighbor was walking her dog. There was a brief scuffle and a lot of yelling from my neighbor until we got her dog in the car and called the cops. I've seen the dog a few times on the side of the road but nothing worth mentioning until last week. I was walking my dog when the same thing happened. The same bitch comes running around the corner of my neighbor's house, right into me and my dog. I yelled at her, grabbed my dog, and went inside.
My wife and I work opposite shifts so we don't need a babysitter (in this area they're wicked expensive and hard to find). So at 2 in the morning, my wife gets home, and as she opens the door the same dog lunges out of the darkness toward her car, growling and barking. I was inside sleeping like a log so I didn't hear about it until after she came inside - some 20 minutes later. The dog was relentless so she had to involve animal control. My town does not have 24 hour police coverage, so she called the state police's dispatch center, who contacted the local sheriff, who then woke up the animal control officer. He arrived (groggy and pissed off, of course) and chased the dog around her car for a few minutes while she slipped out of the car and into the house.
4 hours later, I'm getting ready for work. I walk downstairs to walk our dog and hear commotion outside so I look out the window. Again, the bitch is back and howling at my neighbors. So when I got home from work I went straight to the police department to file a complaint.
I also terminated a bunch of people today. There were tears, insults, and angry "why me?" questions. But for some reason I think the police report against the dog is way more interesting.
