I pop into 2old2play maybe once every couple of days, but only to check up on the newest games people are playing, read a few blogs, and... well, that's about it. On the plus side though, the fact that I've been swamped during the day means that I've bringing in an extra few hundred bucks every month. Being the boring ass that I am, that extra money goes into savings or I use it to "get ahead" on my credit cards.
Then this week, something awesome.
I found out that my 2003 Honda Element is one of a number of Hondas whose odometers counts miles too fast. Somebody figured this out and filed a class action lawsuit. Not a big deal to me- my plan is to run this car into the ground, so resale value means very little to me. I apparently received some letter in the mail but I don't recall ever having seen it. This week, I got something else in the mail, much better than some letter filled with legal nonsense and multi-syllable words.

Sorry it's blurry. The digital camera is out for warranty repairs so I used my crappy cell phone camera. But the basic idea is this: A check to me, for $337. I realize that $337 isn't a ton of money, but it's cash in my pocket that I haven't budgeted and that is not going toward credit cards or a mortgage or stupid Cingular.
Now I have no effin' clue what to spend it on.
