Listen, I am by far the second to last person on this planet to be making fun of someone's use of the engligh vernacular (Our very own Caesar is the last person). You people have been subjected to my butchering of English in the following ways:

My spelling

My grammar

My misuse of words in context

My typo's

My punctuation

The list goes on and on.

But I am not a person  (quote/un quote) in a position associated with a higher eduction or assumed intellect. When I think of what a president is or is not... Public speaking is something they should fucking pwn about 98% of everyone else on the planet at...

A few mistakes here and there, okay, no one is god damn perfect...and the more one speaks in pubic eye, the more chance of a mistake is to happen and then be splattered across TV, Radio, the interwebs, etc.

But Mr.Bush, is a giant sack of public speaking screw ups...He may be very intelligent, but Jesus Christ man....take a fucking public speaking, or speach course. I did, and got a god damn B+, and that is saying a lot, cause I am an idiot.

Link to the article I got these from.

I now give you examples of what I am talking about:

• "I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully." — September 2000, explaining his energy policies at an event in Michigan.

• "Rarely is the question asked, is our children learning?" — January 2000, during a campaign event in South Carolina.

• "They misunderestimated the compassion of our country. I think they misunderestimated the will and determination of the commander in chief, too." — Sept. 26, 2001, in Langley, Va. Bush was referring to the terrorists who carried out the Sept. 11 attacks.

• "There's no doubt in my mind, not one doubt in my mind, that we will fail." — Oct. 4, 2001, in Washington. Bush was remarking on a back-to-work plan after the terrorist attacks.

• "It would be a mistake for the United States Senate to allow any kind of human cloning to come out of that chamber." — April 10, 2002, at the White House, as Bush urged Senate passage of a broad ban on cloning.

• "I want to thank the dozens of welfare-to-work stories, the actual examples of people who made the firm and solemn commitment to work hard to embetter themselves." — April 18, 2002, at the White House.

• "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." — Sept. 17, 2002, in Nashville, Tenn.

• "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." — Aug. 5, 2004, at the signing ceremony for a defense spending bill.

• "Too many good docs are getting out of business. Too many OB/GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country." — Sept. 6, 2004, at a rally in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

• "Our most abundant energy source is coal. We have enough coal to last for 250 years, yet coal also prevents an environmental challenge." — April 20, 2005, in Washington.

• "We look forward to hearing your vision, so we can more better do our job." — Sept. 20, 2005, in Gulfport, Miss.

• "I can't wait to join you in the joy of welcoming neighbors back into neighborhoods, and small businesses up and running, and cutting those ribbons that somebody is creating new jobs." — Sept. 5, 2005, when Bush met with residents of Poplarville, Miss., in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

• "It was not always a given that the United States and America would have a close relationship. After all, 60 years we were at war 60 years ago we were at war." — June 29, 2006, at the White House, where Bush met with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.

• "Make no mistake about it, I understand how tough it is, sir. I talk to families who die." — Dec. 7, 2006, in a joint appearance with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

• "These are big achievements for this country, and the people of Bulgaria ought to be proud of the achievements that they have achieved." — June 11, 2007, in Sofia, Bulgaria.

• "Mr. Prime Minister, thank you for your introduction. Thank you for being such a fine host for the OPEC summit." — September 2007, in Sydney, Australia, where Bush was attending an APEC summit.

• "Thank you, Your Holiness. Awesome speech." April 16, 2008, at a ceremony welcoming Pope Benedict XVI to the White House.

• "The fact that they purchased the machine meant somebody had to make the machine. And when somebody makes a machine, it means there's jobs at the machine-making place." — May 27, 2008, in Mesa, Ariz.

• "And they have no disregard for human life." — July 15, 2008, at the White House. Bush was referring to enemy fighters in Afghanistan.

• "I remember meeting a mother of a child who was abducted by the North Koreans right here in the Oval Office." — June 26, 2008, during a Rose Garden news briefing.

• "Throughout our history, the words of the Declaration have inspired immigrants from around the world to set sail to our shores. These immigrants have helped transform 13 small colonies into a great and growing nation of more than 300 people." — July 4, 2008 in Virginia.

• "The people in Louisiana must know that all across our country there's a lot of prayer — prayer for those whose lives have been turned upside down. And I'm one of them. It's good to come down here." — Sept. 3, 2008, at an emergency operations center in Baton Rouge, La., after Hurricane Gustav hit the Gulf Coast.

• "This thaw — took a while to thaw, it's going to take a while to unthaw." Oct. 20, 2008, in Alexandria, La., as he discussed the economy and frozen credit markets.

Now it is possible that a few of these were taken out of context, or the author of the article is a uber liberal democract just hating on Bush and making this stuff up. But something tells me, probably not.

jeez man, talk about "late to the party" Did you think we didn't like him because of his hair color or something? I mean, think about some of those zingers. Now think about how "intelligent" he is if he couldn't anticipate what HE HIMSELF was going to say. Now wonder about some of the decisions he's made.

True... he's gone in 16 days... who will the Left have to bash then? BTW, before becoming President, Bush was a very eloquent speaker while Governor of Texas. Something flipped in his brain when he made the transition it seems.

I'm not going to get into a battle over this, but just say that Clinton had just as many mistakes, as did any president, however people fought to find these so they could exploit them. His lack of popularity was caused by the Media... Should we bring back memories of Kenedy's German? or any of the stuff Nixon said and did? or how about Obaba's cabinet members dropping out because of scandals? and he's not even president yet. If you want to attack one thing about Bush, why not attack one thing about any of the others...

@Auto.. To answer your question, I did not have enough time to review 40 plus other presidents for every speech, remark, quote, and dialogue they have every had...Basically this article caught my eye about the Bushisms, which I knew to be numerous. The main reason I can see that the "Media" caused his lack or popularity (because otherwise he is the best president eva!!!! This is sarcasm, in case you think I am saying he is/was a good president) was that has done nothing to make everyone forget his blunders. When I think of those other presidents you mentioned, I can at least think of one thing that because of their actions have lasted generations. Kennedy-Space Program. Cuban missile crisis Nixon-Relations with China (or at least an attempt at them) Clinton-Hummers are a good thing The only thing I can recall that I will say Bush did a good job at, was going after Bin laden searching every corner of the planet, and not giving up.

While I still feel that the bulk the info that he has based a majority of his decisions on has not been declassified (who knows why) so we won't be able to fully rationalize why he made alot of choices....however since I can only speculate on what they might have known...and while I also feel there were some bad decissions made (the Bailout) I absolutly respect your opinions and also feel this war on terror will be his milestone.

"....this war on terror will be his milestone. " Boy thats true but i dont think in the way you mean it to be. This man, his incompetence, and the incompetence of those he surrounded himself with allowed 911 to happen. Than he used it as an excuse to invade a country that had nothing to do with 911. He pulled our resources out of Afghanistan where the bad guys were and now they have regrouped and are taking that country back. And with all the resources, weapons and intelligence of US he couldn't find, or kill, one sick 6 ft tall arab that masterminded 911 hiding in a cave in the hills of Pakistan. Your correct that is a milestone that wont soon be forgotten. If we are lucky! Worst President ever! Hope the door hits him in the ass on the way out. - BAT

I thought gamers would understand the need to secure a safe base of opperations before you can initiate a successful attack on your primary target.....Sadam would have undermined everything we did in Afganistan, with him in the picture we would have been facing the same terrorists but they would have had tanks better weapons and a border they could run across to hide when they were trapped....and possibly an easier way to get to US soil to cause the deaths of countless American civilians. it was a necessary move, I have friends in Iraq, if I could have them home I would love it, but they make it clear that they are there because they have to be there, they want to be there, because they feel that what they are doing is making this country safer. sorry for the rant...but that's where I stand

@Soup- Much to my chagrin I voted for him the first time, based on his record of delegating and getting things done.I have seen him make an eloquent speech, just not lately. There's been a theory rolling around awhile that he suffered some mild strokes. @Auto-When will they be done securing Iraq so that we can initiate a successful attack on our primary target? And with Saddam still there, would Iran be such a threat?
