Comic Book Wed 05/07, shots, and stuff

So Logan has finally started to walk...sort of...He does it usually when he is pre-occupied with something or has stuff in his hands. It really is quite funny to watch...The transition away from formula and baby foods to normal food is going pretty good. They are completely off of formula and drinking whole milk (yuk). They love crackers, hot dogs, string cheese, bananananananananaananas, pasta, sloppy joe's, pancakes, applesauce, waffles, ground chicken, pizza crust, etc...Summer is a little more picky then Logan, Put it in front of Logan and it is pretty much going down. Summer kind of "samples" the new item first, thinks about it and either shakes her head no...or grabs for more..LOL.

Doors are no longer usefull for keeping them in a room, most of our doors have a lever type handle, and they both can grab them and pull the doors open..(Lovely...not), so now we have tension baby gates in front of their room...I am sure this is just a minor convienece until they can figure something else out.

They are also now climbing up on things now, the couch, chairs, THE GOD DAMN KITCHEN TABLE WHEN MY BACK WAS TURNED!!! Yes..some how the boy stood up, got on top of the kitchen table from his high chair, and crawled over to his sister..Yes I am a bad parent and did not put the harness on them, thinking they did not have this ability yet...Well now the harness is on...

Titletacular this week, I am counting 10 books I am picking up (not counting the additional covers for the same titles). Looks like the lite week last week was a fluke...

Today's shots:

Slut Juice

8 ounces vodka

3 ounces orange juice

1 tablespoon lemonade mix

mix in a 12oz glass, stirring well. Serve in 6 to 8 shot glasses.

Warm Blonde

1 part southern comfort

1 part amaretto

Layer in a shot glass

White Mess

1 part white rum

1 part creme de cassis

1 part root beer schnapps

1 part coconut rum

1 part heavy cream

Shake with ice and strain into shot glasses. Because this recipe includes many ingredients, it's easier to make in volume, about 6 shots.
