Comic Book Wed on Friday? WTF!?!?!

Well you see, there were a couple of extra titles I picked up before Thanksgiving, then this week, the shipment was delayed until Thursday do to the holiday the week before..

Blah, Blah, Blah....Yeah I know who t.f. cares, right...

Teri has started her rehab....Woo Who!!! Before the end of the year she is going to cram in like 20 rehab appointments...She is alotted 20 in a calendar year, and with the next surgery penned for Feb 7 (ACL and PCL replacement). It is critical that she get as much range of motion that she can before she has to start all over again. Then with the next surgery, she will be locked in a brace again for 4 weeks at a 20 degree bend...and start all over again.

I know those of you that have had knee ligament replacement surgery (like myself) are scratching your heads, thinking...Damn they made me start rehad like day 1 after my surgery...Well this Dr...(who has been 100% spot on thus far) says normally, if it was just one ligament then he would do the same...But since he is doing 2 at the same time, plus the other 2 he did before, there is just to much work/trauma on the knee, and to push it, might screw everything up...So what Dr..wants...Dr. gets...

But Teri is now in a new brace (non locking one) and if the Dr. clears her to drive (after some rehab appointments) then she can go back to work. Which is a needed thing (not only financially) because since she is a teacher, the School districs policy is that, if you miss 92 days of work (total, not consecutive) your position can be posted and a new teacher hired...She will still have a job, but if her position is posted and filled, then she would be like a sub or teach at another school. She does not want to do that...So hopefully she will be going back to work soon. She has been out since Oct.3

Got a call from Costco, and they have taken the stance since they were not able to determin that they were at fault, and that they are not going to do anything to help us out...WTF...so my wifes foot magically started slipping forward for no reason...The associate then asked if we were going to pursue further measures in this situation....UH...yeah...that is a safe guess.
