Zune 3.0 Software out Today..

Attention all of my Zune peeps...The 3.0 sofware is out today. Click here for the software if you have not already downloaded it or want to check it out.

It comes in around 28 plus megs, and depending on your machine, the update takes a few minutes to install and will need to restart your system afterwards. Then when you plug in your Zune, it will then ask to be updated, which takes a few more minutes to do. But it will have a couple of more menus items, and will install 2 games (Texas Hold'em and Hexic).

The games are pretty slick, and you can select to play your own music from your Zune to play during the game (at least on Hexic you can, I have not tried that with Hold'em yet).

The new MixView option is pretty cool, and the suggestions it gives for artists is pretty good. Plus a few of your friends/others with simular likes will pop up in this MixView.

There are a few other additons/improvments but I have not checked them all out yet, you can check out whats new  here and how Gizmodo says MixView is better then Apple's Genius here.

What I found out most disturbing is that Soup has the Pet Shop Boys and Erasure as his most listened to bands, and Drost has Boy George as his top listened to Artist....WTF.
