Another busy week.

Well first off, our dept had a night guy quit. That means one of us has to cover the night shift. Of course it means taking the swing shift away from days. Also add on that a new guy is training and it makes for some busy days. Normally we have 3 guys on days. Subtract 1, add a new guy and that means I am working about by myself. That about trippled my workload. JOY...

That brought me out to wed. Playing some Chromehounds with Kitten and the rest of the ClanArchy group. My 360 locks up. This is new... Soon after I get 3 red rings. I blamed Kitten of course! Now I have coined the phrase "XTD".

Thursday finds me going to get another 360 at gamestop. I scam the hell out of those people...

I had a launchday 360. I bought the 1 year exchange plan. After the year is up I go back to the store I bought it at(EB). The whole store has changed. It is clean now. Apperantly, everyone that worked there got fired and there is a new manager. I told the guy I would like to renew the 1 year warranty. Of course he can't do that... Well I shoot the shit with the guy. I told him I don't come to the store anymore because of the prev. people. Kept laying it on thick, after about 10 min., he agreed to renew the plan. $20 less than what I paid for it too...

Goodthing because I needed it!

Later it was time to go Racing RC! ROADTRIP! Well we were running late so I was hauling balls. Because my truck has wide, aggessive tires there is road noise. However I was 5 miles from the track and the noise got bad and it did not go away. That could only mean a wheel bearing. 100 miles from home too... Suck it up I thought. Made it to the track and we made registration in the nick of time.

We spent a fuel tank tweaking my carb. It needed it. Apperantly though my buddiy knocked my starter wire off. When I went to qualify, the damn thing would not start. This cost me about 5-6 laps. Then I get called over to the booth. I got flagged. Someone had checked in on my freq. so I got double laps. Great, that means the qualifying laps did not count. I was able to tweak the suspension for the track conditions a little bit. Although that means I am going to run the final qualifying heat without a test run. Also means it is for keeps as only 5 trucks will make the race. I qualified third overall and set a hot lap time of 16.something seconds. Average lap was under 23 seconds which is very fast. I figured that would give me second place by a large margin and first if he made mistakes.

It was good for second. I lost first by about a quarter lap. The first place guy ran 4 19sec laps B2B.

Fri got me taking apart my truck to get the new bearing in. As it turns out I had to order it overnight. Parts guy said it would be 0800. That is cool I went and cleaned all the crap from around it and ripped the back pocket off my jeans. It went down around by my crotch too...

Screw it I thought, time to gear up for S&D. By the time I got on, I was bombed. Highlights include:

XTDS, a guy wraping himself in plastic-wrap to protect himself from Kitten(he had it wrapped around his head and everything... Err. I forgot the rest ...

Bad thing was, I fell asleep in my chair. Dirty shop clothes on and everything. Well when I woke up sat. it was 0900. Time to get my parts. I didn't change my clothes I figured they would just get dirty anyways. So, all hung over and still having a good buzz, I went to the parts store. I got a shitload of funny looks. I had totally forgot about my ass hanging out the back of my jeans. At least I had boxers on. Too bad they were white.

whew, that was alot of typing...
