This year racing season starts early. Now I got to actually get my truck together for racing. I will still be running the STRR Evo. This will be an interesting year. There are new schedules and one of the tracks is only running 1 race monthly so hopefully we will have more people. I am tired of running with electric trucks. That is all...
I finally got all the things I need to get this PC built! I have a few stability issues trying to squeeze some extra performance out of the thing. I am working out the issues. I have got a good stable setup saved though and I was able to get the thing online.
Anywhoot, I am really excited to have this thing up and running.
I noticed I haven't blogged in a minute. Soon I will hit the 10th year of Xbox live membership. It will also be my last. Before I joined, we had computers. Counterstrike was the game of choice. Converting to XBL was nice. No hassle LAN and easy internet gaming. I just tossed my old box recently. It still played music like a champ.
Now though, live just isn't the same. It is laggy and gaming is starting to take a back seat. MMO games are not comming to the console. Worse yet, if a game does not sell well the dev won't patch it. No matter how nice a game.
Damn it! I have been here for 2 hours and I still can barely function. The hangover is spectacular. I finished out the night drink Busch beer. I have no clue who brought that swill by.
I bought some Kraken Rum. It is quite strong compared to the Captian I would normally drink. Still though, undaunted I finished 2/3rds of the bottle.
I probably shouldn't have gone to work this morning.
Normally I just take a couple days off here and there. Every 3 day weekend is a 4 day one and if a holiday falls in the middle of the week I take a couple extra. This time I grabbed about 12 days straight. I sat around and drank alot. I am not kidding either. I completly relaxed.
It took 10min of being back in the office for some fucking trucker to piss me off.
I have decided that I need to move. I don't much care where but it needs to be a low tax bracket state. No family to bring along, nothing but bad memories to leave behind.
This weeks fucking trucker is Joy! Well, this happened about 6 years ago but I am telling the story now... As always, the names are changed to protect the woodchucks.
So, I get this message over the computer. It was not addressed to me but I read it anyways because it came up on my board. It read:
I waited for my buddy Todd to swing by so we could check out the track. Once he arrived we picked up his brother Rick. Rick was drunk already it seems. We headed out to the track. The surface is chewed up. Mainly because the track was torn up and redone. I can't wait until it is finnished. Brian said he was getting more clay/dirt. He wants to try to make a blue groove surface it seems. The track will be loose and loamy for a bit. It always is when you try to revamp the entire surface. It is not as tight as it was last year.
