Shared on Thu, 03/08/2012 - 11:50I recieved the report of why we had to fix the parts report. I anticipated this response and was albe to jump on it with a well rehearsed come back.
The response was, "I was never trained to do that".
The reply:
*He entered all the parts in the right library and in the right area.
*He used the part numbers on the invoice, which was mostly correct.
*He correctly recorded the PO# and recived all line items as they were on the invoice.
*In the computer, mechanicaly, everything he did was flawless.
*However, I have to make assumptions when I train people that they have some skills that are required to do this job. Skills like being able to read at a 6th grade level and be able to perform basic addition.

I would have said basic skills from graduating from high school or obtaining ones GED which ever is applicable.
