Shared on Fri, 05/18/2012 - 06:22I have really grown to hate Fed-Ex. Our local delivery guy is a complete prick. I have filed multiple complaints but he still has a job. They truck drivers are probably union. Anyways, I needed a specialty engine tool and it was very hard to locate. I found it for sale in New Jersey but I did not have a driver to pick it up. The guy would only ship Fed-Ex. So I need this tool by the end of buisness today. After checking the progress, I am betting it is not going to make it today because the prick local delivery guy will get here late. Here is the current progress...

Business-wise, I always add a day when dealing with Fed-Ex (UPS as well), but if it's personally for me, I request them to hold at the hub and pick it up. I don't like being at their mercy one bit.

Agreed.
If you absolutely need something by a certain time, have it held at the depot and pick it up yourself.

If I remember right most of the Fed-ex drivers buy their route and make money off it. so, pretty much you are screwed and stuck with your driver.
