Shared on Sat, 11/16/2013 - 11:33UPS finally delivered my PS4 around 3pm on launch day.
The first thing I did was swap the 500 Gig drive with a 1 TB drive. As always, it was extremely easy to do and the OS load was even faster on the PS4 than on the PS3.
After that, seting up the PSN account took no time at all. I saw people having issues with PSN yesterday but by the time I received mine, everything was flawless.
I went to the store and started a few downloads for the free PS+ games and popped in Killzone: Shadow Fall. The game installed pretty fast and I was able to play the game while the PSN downloads were still happening in the background -- something the PS3 lacked.
Jumping between the game and the XMB+ (for lack of a better term) is extremely fast. The new interfae is great. They kept the same feel of the XMB -- which is a good thing.
Sharing screenshots to Facebook works very well. Playing a multiplayer game might be tricky doing screenshots since you'll get pulled out of the game to upload them. Streaming from the console is as simple as linking your Twitch.tv or uStream account. You can stream either with or without being able to see viewer's comments.
Linking the Vita took 20 seconds. I played a little bit of "Flower" from the PS4 using the Vita and there was zero delay. It worked perfectly.
Party chat worked well. We were able to get a party going with about six of us hoping in/out of Battlefield 4 servers most of the night. For us non-Xbox folks...that was pretty nice.
I didn't see any issues with PSN last night but I did see issues with EA and Ubisoft servers when I was trying to play Battlefield and Assassin's Creed 4 at times.
The PS4 is incredibly quiet and you can't even tell it's on. I can't even hear the hard drive spinning in it.
I didn't get the Move camera as I don't see a need for one. I don't want to talk to a console. That being said, the Playroom game looks fun and I might pick up a camera for when my nieces come to visit us. They'd enjoy that game.
In my less-than-24-hours use with it, I'm more than satisfied with this console.

The playroom does look pretty interesting for kids. $60 just may be a little too expensive to justify the purchase however. If the camera ever goes on sale for $30 or less, I would possible consider getting one.
If I do, you all can watch me play Killzone naked.
