UPS finally delivered my PS4 around 3pm on launch day.

The first thing I did was swap the 500 Gig drive with a 1 TB drive.  As always, it was extremely easy to do and the OS load was even faster on the PS4 than on the PS3.

After that, seting up the PSN account took no time at all.  I saw people having issues with PSN yesterday but by the time I received mine, everything was flawless.  

My new Vita arrived yesterday and I'm really digging it.

I was going to wait a few weeks to get one but the "First Edition" bundles from amazon was pretty good.  $350 for the  3G/WiFi Vita, a case, Little Deviants, a 4 Gig memory card, a 250 Meg AT&T data pass when you buy one, and another free game -- Super Stardust Delta and it's DLC.

Finally, after being a fan for 20 years, I was able to catch my first Pixies show last night.

The Pixies are doing a "Lost Cities" tour -- Performing their album "Doolittle" in it's entirety in cities they've never played. Great album and easily one of my favorites. When I found out one of their "Lost Cities" would be about 1.5 hours from here, that was close enough for a road trip.

Uncharted 3 is finally out today.  I love the Uncharted games and can't wait to pick up my copy during lunch today.

It will be tough to top the "Aw, kitty got wet" line from Uncharted 2.  Hopefully Naughty Dog has something just as good in Uncharted 3.

I am really digging the Uncharted 3 MP unlock from Subway.  They didn't stray far from Uncharted 2's MP, which is a good thing.  They changed up the perks a little and added some new ones like "Poison Idol".  The only time you can really use that is in "Plunder" mode.  When you throw the idol to move it across the map, it will emit a cloud of poison gas so the other team can't grab it.  I've only seen one person use it so far but it does seem to work.  Most people appear to use the RPG perk more than anything.  Including me:

I've been looking forward to this game for quite some time.  The first two were an absolute blast to play in both story and multiplayer, and R3's multiplayer seems just as fun from what I've played in the beta. 

I guess if anyone's looking for most of 2Old2Resist, we'll be in campaign or multiplayer.  :P

I can't stop playing the Resistance 3 beta.  It seems most betas tend to be plagued with issues and then it depends on the devs to patch it so we can continue to test.  That's exactly what Insomniac did and the result is gold, Jerry!  Gold!

I finally finished the "good" story on inFAMOUS 2 on Sunday.  That game took everything I loved from the first one and improved on it.

The characters actually had some growth and you really did think about the consequences of your decisions while playing.  The addition of the "shard finder" power made tracking those shards down a lot easier, although it doesn't get unlocked until you're almost close to the end of the game -- Which makes sense.
