Ok fast blog here nothing in depth nothing ground breaking....but I had somewhat of an epiphany last night.... although most of us females state we dont need to prove anything to the "men" we game with you know we try not to be to "female" like... you know what i mean... however in all that we try to overcome there are times where I WILL WHINE... tough shit whether its my time LOL ewwww or im overwhelmed at home I AM... first and formost a MOM aka female. I truly loathe the female(ingeneral) that has a nastey comment like they have never been guilty of the occasional female tyrant.. Get over your self. IT happens... whether you hold a grudge longer than a guy... whether you yella bit louder than another i am WOMAN here me roar thing.. whatever.. to truly say YOUR no different than a male gamer is bullshit... Why should i feel guilty for being a woman.... I love that im a bit different... i think its hypocritical to say your all the same.. or you dont try to be like them but yet you'll rag on a woman for being in fact a WOMAN... now this is not to say i enjoy the lil woman who whines through each match... who hits and flirts on ever guy in a room... who needs to yell louder curse more and be a "dick" will BE TOLERATED... it wont... ill leave or boot your ass... however ... to a degree we are female.. i will nto try to be a guy to fit in.. i will not pretend to hate all females to prove something... I am who i am .. good bad or indifferent.

Good subject...As far as I'm concerned - I like shoes and I like shooting things. And there's definitely this strange dichotomy in games where some people view women gamers as either booth babes or butches....When the truth is, most ladies lie somewhere in the middle...

If women acted like men we would have population overgrowth. The toilet seat would always be up ( thats cool) And I wouldnt have to worry about changing the oil in my wifes car she could do it herself. Hmmmm ?

RAWR .. you go girl :wink: agreed, one thing I have a really low tolerance for is girl gamers putting down other girl gamers using sweeping negative generalizations about the female gender.. it's just inherently wrong.

To each his or her own I guess. I really enjoy just being one of the guys. It's good, however, that you know yourself well enough to know what you like.

I generally enjoy being a woman and being a gamer. Your right, that it makes me unique and I am thats icing but I also really enjoy games with other women gamers and wish there were more of us. Speaking of generalizations I don't think I have ever met a 'butch' female gamer or one who I considered a 'whiner' (although I have met several guys who fit that bill). I have met a few 'flirty' ladies but hey if I was single and available, I would probably flirt a little too.
