Trying to game during the summer months with a house full of kids up late running around, the noise level very high the late night snacks the activities you have to do being a parent. being so tired by 11 at night is crazy.  I used to during the school year be able to game while the baby napped during the day... of course after laundry... cleaning.... paying bills and having coffee, but none the less got to play ... now if she naps i have to entertain the other 3... <nephew is here for the summer> i have NOOOOOO DOWN TIMe!!!! How do you try to balance playing and having some  much needed adult time at home... with KIDSSSSSS of all different ages!    Im slowing losing what little mind i have left.

You just make it happen. If you're married, you both need you time and you both need couple time regardless of how many rugrats are running around. You and your spouse should switch off an hour a day for some alone time. Or if you're single, arrange some play dates. Maybe get a group of you together and rotate around who has the kids for an afternoon on the weekends. Then if you're married or dating with kids, you should try and set one night a week aside as a date night and the two of you hit the town and catch up on adult talk. Hire a baby sitter for the night and get out of the house. Also it's good to try and encourage sleep overs. Kind of goes along with the weekend afternoon play dates, but these can be used for more intimate time with your significant other. Get together with the parents of your kids friends and talk about having rotating sleep overs. Could work.
