I've lived here in utah now for around 6 years now and I've noticed a few things some good some bad... Let me state I'm originally from NY, country club area of the bronx, also after college I went to Cape Cod for the summer and wound up staying for some time. So while out here Ive seen lots of things that just stick out..

There Are little to NO squirrels!! wtf these furry little rats where every where in NY and MA...

No FLEAS... apparently the weather doesn't allow them to live...

Little to no roaches.... and not the roaches people think are horrid here but the cadallic size ones you could charge rent to.

No stores or Resturants open after 11 pm lol and shopping ends @ 9 WTF??? lol

There definition of a museum is amusing to say the least

They actually leave their money on the door for the paper

Very few women here "that Ive met" actually voice there opinion. very stepford like

Theres only one starbucks per 6 towns.... as Hot coffee or tea is against their religion. :)

Sex toys and all such related "adult" Items " are considered contraband. lol

What the rest of the country thought was Cute last year... is the must have item now...

EVERYTHING is sensored.

Adult gaming of anykind is considered "immature" and a dangerous path we're taking our kids on ... hehehehhe it could lead to PORN lmao actual statement in the local paper.

You cant by liquor but in the State run store that closes @ 6 pm lol Well that and in Northern utah area.. Luney and I must be the only people that drink period..

to be contiunued..................

hahaha......funny to see someone else make these observations......some of them are why we moved back to Vegas. squirrels are everywhere back east, along with many other creatures. It was kinda fun at first seeing cute little fury animals in our yard when we first moved to PA, but then my dog started "catching" them and it became a slight problem. No fleas here in Vegas either, or any other bugs really. Many, many, many bugs in PA, though. The stores closing in PA really sucked. In Vegas the grocery stores stay open 24 hours. And the lack of restuarants in PA sucked, where we lived at least. The museums and such are one reason we moved from Vegas. They suck here and we wanted to have more culture around us, more family things to do, and what better place to be in than smack middle in between Philly and NY. Dont have a problem with liquor in Vegas. But in PA it was sad. Not as bad as Utah, but it still sucked. In Vegas, you can buy beer in any corner convenient store and the grocery stores. In PA, you can only buy in state run stores or bars, and they all close early.

True, true... The liquor store in Sandy is open till 10:00 So that makes at least 3 drinkers in Utah!
