an oversight on my part

I never realised that I never updated my blog, until I was asked about it.

Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away about a week after I got home.  I knew when I left that it wasn't likely I'd see my grandfather again, but when I last spoke to him he was determined to see another summer.  So I clung to that small hope, hoping that my believing would help.  It was very painful however, and sometimes when it's our time, well, why fight God?  I have very many happy memories, and I'll always remember my grandfather as the strong person he was.  He was very influential in my life and helped to shape the person I've become.  So in that small way, he'll never really be gone from me, though I miss him alot at times.  Times like this actually, when I think about it.
