I just wanted to say that I am a gaming nerd.  I should have known this a while ago but it is about 3pm on Monday and I am wondering what time I should get to my local Gamestop to get in line for Halo 3.  I know that there are people there now and I wonder how long this can go on before I grab my DS and join the midnight nerdgasm that will be Halo 3.  The issue here is that with how commercial Halo 3 is, the Timmys will be out in force.  I am trying to find that sweet spot between not being there until 3 am waiting to get a copy and killing the people in line and going to jail.  What time should I go?  Give me your take....

You need to check with your GS. Mine is open at 9:00 to let people pre-pay. Then at midnight they will be handing them out ONLY to prepaid customers. Should be quick.

I'm on the fence to go up at 9 or wait til 12:30, leaning towards 12:30. I already prepaid, don't feel like waiting in a line for 3 hours. Same as doorgunner, they said it would probably move quick with everyone having paid it off.
