Basic game play is you have to kill a target while there is someone else trying to kill you. On The Ship when you kill your target you get that person's target next. It is elimination - there can only be one. Bloody Good Time does respawns.
On The Ship you need to watch your hunger level, sleep level, cleanliness, boredom, and a bunch of of other traits. It's a mechanism to make you vulnerable since at some point you will need to eat, sleep, be entertained, and what not. Bloody Good Time just have eat, sleep, and potty break.
The Ship's levels are all boats. Bloody Good Time's levels are movie sets with traps.
Also like The Ship there are weapons all around the levels and certain weapons will get you more points. Both games have seciroty guards and security cameras that you need to avoid when killin your prey. On The Ship if you get caught you go to jail and stay in jail for a set amount of time. You loose all of your weapons and some money for bail. However, while in jail you can catch up on sleep and cleanliness. In Bloody Good Time you just respawn loosing the weapon you were caught with.
On The Ship as you move about the ship you will find clothing and accessories you can disguise yourself with. Bloody Good Time doesn't do that.
I think the game would be great with friends, just as The Ship is.
