Shit, EA is close to figuring out how to just get you to hand over $120 without getting ANY game in return. Count yourself lucky with those bastards that you get anything at all.
I am on an EA boycott but with no NHL or football competition I might buy them this year. Badgers made it to the Rose Bowl so they will be good in the game. Packers - well, you know.
The "infographic" displayed doesn't reflect the vision of all gamers... EA's service model works well for many businesses issuing content. The idea being create a service robust enough to satisfy the majority, and leave just enough "features" out, so that the game doesn't seem complete to those hardcore enough to care, then, offer the extra/bonus/special or what-have-you content the hardcore end-user asks for (having already considered it's implementation long before hand) for a fee or as a bonus to those who pre-order (which is fast cash in their pockets). This is not uncommon. EA is a business, and they're in the business of making money.
