One thing the PSN got right
Ok, two things. First, they use actual dollar amounts, not points. Second is because of the way it is structured and since it had full downloadable games before Live has they perfected the system. Right now you can get the full game Burnout Paradise with all of the DLC as a bundle package for $30. I don't think Live could do bundles with the way it is structured.
I haven't put a game disc in my PS3 for sometime. The netflix disc has been pretty much a permanent part of my system. I only have two disc games though - UT3 and Hot Shots golf. Games that I have been playing have all been downloadable games - equivilent to Live's arcade. I would like to do the game On Demand on Live but those are outrageously priced.

If they were going to do that on Live, it would probably need to be a Games on Demand download bundled with all the dlc. But I imagine that EA/Criterion would need to go through the expense of re-mastering the disc as a platinum hits or goty edition with all the DLC before it could go up for On Demand.\r

So ya you're right, they probably won't bother.
My PS3 is basically a BluRay player and the odd game, I do like the fact I can DL PSP games that are new, but their release of PS1 games is so slow its stupid and the download speeds are slower than a dead turtle in winter time frozen on a pond.\r

My PC, Wii and 360 all download super fast. Sony needs to replace their hamster
