Shared on Sat, 01/29/2011 - 12:43So. Today was going to be the first day of my new weekly electronic visitation (i.e. xbox time). It is spelled out very specifically what is required for both parties. I must be a fool thinking that it was going to actually happen.
It didn't happen. Here is the high level details.
sent the xbox last week. kids got it on Wednesday.
kids were excited to get the xbox and set it up. PEW emails me and says they will get it hooked up prior to Sat so it is ready to go.
I email PEW back to say if she has any issues give me a call or email me. I hear nothing until Friday evening.
Youngest daughter calls on Friday to say she wants to set it up. I hear in the background PEW talking. Daughter gets back on the phone and says mom told her she cant use xbox tonight and needs to wait until Sat. Daughter is sad, but hopeful that it will work on Sat.
Sat morning at 10:00am - the prescribed elec visitation time. No kids. No calls. Nothing. 10:10, i get a call from youngest daughter that she wants to start using xbox. I ask her if the xbox live membership has been set up. she has no idea. Bottom line. It wasn't set up. She gets frustrated and runs to her room in tears. Son grabs the phone and wants to know why it won't work. I tell him that an xbox live membership is required. He tells this to his mom (PEW). PEW grabs the phone, tells me to stop putting the kids in the middle of things and hangs up on me.
i'm like WTF???
The good thing is that we have a parenting coordinator. I sent all this info to her, and we'll see what she says. The parenting plan is very detailed and has everything outlined. PEW has painted herself into a corner on this one.
All i want to do is talk to my kids, play games with them and connect with them. why is PEW such a bitch? I think there must be a psychosis here going on or something.
sigh....
