I love that scene from Say Anything almost as much as I love 'two dollars' from Better Off Dead.

So, I was going to go to the graduation ceremony for my ex in mid December. Every time we talked about it, she said she wanted me to, as I had supported her more than her family did while she was going to school and even before she was going to school. She said she wasn't going to get the schedule from the university until mid October, so she didn't even know which campus it was going to be at, or the time, or anything. Just that it was going to be on December 13th.

Come mid October I sent her an email, and never received a response. I put it up to her being a medical intern, and having minimal time. I sent her two more emails over the next few weeks, which weren't returned, so I figured I was out. You know snubbed. Plus air fare and hotel rates were getting out of control as the event was approaching, so I said "Fuck it." It kinda really pisses me off, as I was hoping to maybe meet up with some of the 2o2p crowd from the Dallas area, but that was that.

Unfortunately I had already locked my vacation in for middle December earlier in the year, in order to attend.

Just finished chatting with her on Facebook. Turns out that a friend of the family, who never supported her, and put her down all her life was invited. I couldn't deal with it after that, said good bye and quit the browser. She claims that she never got my emails, and that she figured I didn't want to go, so she never bothered to call and ask. So of course you are asking why I didn't call her... Good question. I work swing shift so I rarely call anyone, since they are either at work when it's my morning(and I really don't like calling anyone while they are at work), or they are asleep by the time I get home from work(and I feel bad waking them up), however my friends all know that they can call me when ever as I accept that as being a trade off with my schedule.
