Eep - my mock practical test did not go well on Monday night. God only know what was wrong with me, but I was all over the place. I nearly ran a red light, kept missing speed limit signs and ened up going too slow, and completely screwed up a three-point turn. It's safe to say that I've not driven that badly in months. I know for a fact that I wasn't paying enough attention, I was probably still cocky from passing the theory test.  Not to worry, I'll try again next week.

I'm spending a bit more time on WoW just now, although all I'm really doing is plowing my way through the daily quests for the Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la. While both factions do have some nice items there for the taking, I'm going through it more for the money than the reputation. While repeatable daily quests are a great idea of gaining decent amounts of rep easily and regularly, to get started on these ones you need to form up a 5-man group to take down some Elite guys before you get access to the daily stuff, so I ended up spending all of Saturday just getting a group together for Tornik to run the quests. Several hours to get a group, half an hour to accomplish the task. Typical.

Still, I've got this Friday and next Monday off, and I'll be logging Verbatim on and I'll be camping the LFG channel all day in order to accomplish the same task. Wish me luck.

A good idea, Devon, but unfortunately my commute is done by train only, so I'm out of luck there!

I take it there is public transportation available for travel. If so, next time you are riding in the bus, make a point to pay attention to road signs and think about what you would do in a car. If you have to, pretend you are putting your foot on the brake pedal or gas. Driving is a lot of mental awareness as well as physical. Keep with it!
