Seventy-First

Wow,  we had an actual power cut here last night, just as we were going to bed. Bit of a close call actually - if it had been even half an hour later, we would have been asleep and never noticed until 11 this morning, and our respective bosses were calling us up to find out where we were! Fortunately, we were reconnected in about an hour or so, so no loss of food in the fridge or freezer. I also got in late yesterday evening, so there was no painting to report on anyway.

That is a situation I have remedied now, however. I've just finished the last coat of the main colours on the bodies. Tomorrow night (hopefully) I'll either tackle the detailing (eyes, cables, guts, etc.) or I'll try inking up the bodies before I go onto the detailing. I'm thinking the latter tbh, probably easier to tidy up spillage before inking, rather than have to re-ink after tidying.

Once I've done that, I'll base them. Then I'll wort out arms and weapons. I'll be doing them one at a time - completing one model's arms and weapons before moving on to another. It'll take longer, certainly, but I'm in no real rush to finish the squad up yet anyway.
