Things seem to be taking a bit of an upswing at the moment - my girlfriend should be moving up to working full-time in her jewellery shop, which means more experience for her, and more money in her pay packet. Of course, being bankrupt that probably just means we'll have to pay more money out to our creditors.
I've mentioned before that I'm trying to change some things in life. I've always been kind of lazy, putting things off for a while until the last minute then rushing around like a headless chicken trying to cram everything into to as little time as possible. Changes like that don't come overnight, and it's the kind of thing you have to start small with - tidying up little things that you see lying around, making smaller efforts on a regular basis, until they become proper habits - something you do without thinking about it. Over time, those small habits have an effect on everything else. That's the theory anyway.
I think I'll be ready to sit my driving test in a couple of months, so starting today I'll be cracking the books on my theory sttuff. Again, I've been procrastinating and putting this off for ages now, so I'm being ruthless with myself and making sure that the only reading material I have with me on my daily commute are my driving theory books. Staying off the internet at work and concentrating on reading them instead of browsing aimlessly? That'll be one of the small things I need to try and change.
