Fair Warning - These photos are quite large, and may take a minute to download. I like to think they're worth it tho :-)

First up - the Living Saint, front view - her eyes are actually closed, that's not just me being lazy at painting :-P

Now the Living Saint, Rear View.

The colour scheme is the same one I use on all of my Sisters of Battle - the armour is worked up to a bright gold colour in stages from tin, through bronze, brass and copper, the detail on the armour is worked up to silver from a gunmetal colour and the tabard/cloak is a deep purple colour that is highlighted by simply adding small amounts of white to the base colour.

As a comparison, here's a Canoness figure which I painted back before I packed my stuff up

And a rear view

The rest of the army is painted in exactly the same colour scheme. For those of you who know anything about the Witchunter army list, I've converted up 3 Penitent Engines out of Space Marine Dreadnoughts, which have the same gold colouring as the Sisters.

Nice work there Snake! The gold & purple color scheme gives it a regal look. I rarely do my bases, except for maybe a bit of painting that usually looks horrendous lol. I'm not too familiar the Sisters line, but I can guess what their Dreadnoughts must look like.

Thank you. When I first started painting them, I went for the 'Codex' colours - black armour with red tabards, but I hate having to paint red on black, so I have that up. I then tried a silver armour with cream/white tabards, and got a few units of them done before I changed my mind and went with the colour scheme you see here. The Sisters don't have dreadnoughts as such - the Penitent Engines are essentially a walking torture machine, with a heretic strapped inside it, whose pain and torment drives the machine onwards. You can see it on the GW shop here - http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk?do=Individual&code=9911...
