So, Verbatim is a big grown up 70 now. My last acts as a Shadow Priest were to complete the initial steps of the attunement chains for Karazhan and Arcatraz. That done, I made my way to the Undercity, and with heavy heart, asked my favourite Priest Trainer to reset all of my talent points.
I've chosen a desperately boring 21/40/0 build, completely 'cookie cutter', but that's what's needed. Plus, the reason it's become a cookie cutter build is because it's a good build, plenty of talents in the right places - Spirit and Stamina buffs, I've got my full 6% Clearcasting chance there. As far as i'm concerned, it's a good, solid, reliable build, and that's what's needed for good, solid, reliable healing. That's what Verbatim will (hopefully) be providing in the weeks and months to come, but you'll need to ask my guildies about that one.

I'm feeling quite nervous about the change actually. With the expansion, raid sizes have dropped considerably, meaning that there's less chance for people to screw up. I've always thought that I was a good healer, but I can sometimes get distracted and lose track of what's going on, leading to party members having dangerously low HP. Still, I do believe I'm up to the task, otherwise I wouldn't have spent time levelling up Verbatim so that the guild had another priest for raiding.  I'll be spending the next week or two gearing up and finishing my attunement quests, I'll update on my progress as and when.

Not really confusing, part of the reason the game is so huge is that it's so easy to get into, but if you want to dig deeper, there is stuff there for the hardcore.

Sounds a bit confusing. Reading through things like this about WoW makes me want to try it even less. I'm such a nOob.:)
