The Streak

This will not be quite as exciting as me running naked through the Black Forest…but hey it’s a start. Last weekend my personal Ohio State football game attended streak reached 25. That includes home, away, and bowl games. I will go to every game this year and considering doing the same for next…who knows where it will end. I am only #2 on the streak list with my friends. My friend, Nick, is at about 130 consecutive…that’s over 10 years. That boy has issues.

The streak can be a bit draining. Columbus itself is a two hour drive, not to mention drives to crapholes like Wisconsin and Penn State, flights to Seattle, LA, Phoenix, New Orleans, etc. Bowl trips tend to be pricey...and it’s been disheartening to see the Bucks get their ass handed to them in big games. Drinking yourself into a stupor before noon is not as easy as it used to be. With its minor drawbacks…there is nothing like tossing back a few with your closest friends every weekend for three 1/2 months of the year. I love college football.
 
Sorry...I had to include the back hair/butt crack guy from the Florida game…he cracked me up.

C..I have also been to about 12 straight OSU/scUM games. Nothing like the hush of the crowd after beating you down in the Big House. Don't you have to win every once in a while to talk smack? scUM is insignificant.

@Mandingo...seriously?...my ex would actually attend a lot of games/road trips with me...it was something we both enjoyed. It was something she knew when she got into it and she supported it. It's better than picking up hookers. @C...wanna talk recent history?

That is an awesome streak man. And yeah that would suck hard for the flights and stuff. Oh and to bad you are an OSU fan, since Penn State is going to poop on your face this year...LOL But still, that is an awesome streak man!!

@ the PSU fans. I am not overly confident in seeing a victory in Happy Valley this year...I have only seen one victory there. OSU is not Iowa. PSU has the loudest stadium I have ever been to.

michigan is 57-39-6 overall against osu, just because the last couple years osu managed to put some wins together against us does not impress me. still have a long way to go. you will lose this arguement

@C...Actually it stands at 57-42-4. Since 1950 OSU leads the series 30-27-4...soon to be 31-27-4. I actually like it when the game means something. I still don't have a lot of faith in D*ckrod.

since 1950? they have been playing since 1897. rich rod is going to turn michigan into a failure. at least carr had a winning record and helped keep that alive. i think we had the longest wining record in college football and most consecutive bowl games to i think both were close to 40 yrs, then rich rod came a long and fucked us. it will be a miracle if michigan goes 500 this yr.

Yeah, we always did get a bit loud and a bit crazy. any game I was at normally ended with a MASSIVE pounding headach.
