Games just FLY

The reason why? Well, yesterday I looked at my stack o' XBox 360 games and got that overwhelming sense that I wasted my money. Not because I didn't 'have fun with most of them (Chromehounds, how you disappointed me - the long walks with my slow mech, the painful hours of painting, the 3 minutes of actual gameplay...)

So, I figured that I'd add up the games that I never finished or no longer play (10) and multiply it by $60 ($600) for an approximation as to how much I've spent on the games I own, then divide that by the $22 per month for the 2-games-out membership option at Gamefly and came up with: 27 months. Well, that's longer than the 360 has even been out, so if I'd been renting the entire time, I'd be ahead by now plus I could've tried other games that were "maybe"s for me that I didn't bother with.

Now, that just makes good sense considering the number of games coming out that I want to try, but won't play very long (probably) anyway. To be brutally honest, these days, I just play games as long as my clanmates play anyway since the social aspect is a huge part of my gaming.
