Charity (Win Prizes)

Buy a raffle ticket - win great prizes - today!

I love Facebook and the fact that I’ve been able to connect with people I’ve known all my life to people at different stages of my entire life. Most of you know that my life has taken some ups and downs, and that a true career wasn’t always a given.

In early 2009, I came to Kaye/Bassman and I’ve been able to find my niche in Healthcare IT recruiting. It’s been meaningful and rewarding for me personally, and given me something to put more energy and time into than I ever thought possible

just once

Just once, i'd love to know if everyone else really DOES feel the same things i do and look at life similarily.

and just once, i'd love people to say what they FEEL not what they MEAN

just once, i'd like to not care about any of it

just once, i'd like to keep the king feeling without losing it on the next loop

just once i'd like to have a mulligan on deciding to trust again

just once, i'd like to find work-life balance again

fame (I'm going to live forever)

i think fame is actually more real looking into the past than we realize.  the reason we are shocked when looking back at the kennedy tales is because, partly, we know how many people have been touched by the story SINCE then - not just because of what happened, and by that i mean that a head of state was murdered.  it had happened before.  it's happened since.  we're most struck by that because of the sheer numbers of people that have seen it.  We're part of the technology history that few of us comment on.

Hurried

I love this story.  It reminds me that amazing things can be found in unlikely places.  That fame doesn't equal talent.  That rushing means I might miss something.  It reminds me of the simple joys of life waiting around each corner if I take the time to look, listen, and enjoy.  It also asks me the question:  is art real, or purely an existence of public opinion?

Don't Forget

In many ways, memories highlight true experience while also coloring the past in unexpected delusion.  A memory can simply exist as enhancement to past reality, or can twist into an inexact expecation of current or future events.  Same memories surely become a map of behavior, though, if carefully considered and stripped of hyperboly to extract the truth of life moments.  And, certainly, the reaction to such memories definitely open the door to realization of the current moment - reminding of how emotion and human need strips away reason at critical times.  Memory aids in digestion of cloud
