Shared on Thu, 08/17/2006 - 08:13I went to Tom Thumb yesterday at lunch and they had a remarkable sale on Healthy Choice frozen dinners (hey, don't knock it - I'm down to 175 pounds - I was 190 a few months ago and 215 a couple years ago): 10 for $20 (basically, $2 each). Then, there is one of those machines glued to the door that spits out coupons at you for another $1.00 off any four. On top of that, a new Healthy Choice promotion was posted that if you spend $20 on their product, you'll get a $10 gift card from Tom Thumb.
So, I went to the register - total before savings? $43.21. After savings? $24.92. But, then, the manager couldn't find details on the gift card promotion, so she just gave me a $10 bill. So, total cost for 13 dinners? $14.92, or $1.15 each. A Michelango's price for a Healthy Choice meal.
Yum.
