So, I get my 7-day forcast from weather.com today and it says:
- M - Thunderstorms - Scattered - 60%
- Tu - Thunderstorms - Scattered - 60%
- W - Thunderstorms - Scattered - 50%
- Th - Thunderstorms - Scattered - 40%
- F - Thunderstorms - Scattered - 30%
- Sa - Thunderstorms - Isolated - 30%
- Su - Thunderstorms - Isolated - 30%
What the hell is the difference between a "Scattered" thunderstorm and an "Isolated" thunderstorm? I swear there's some guy somewhere at weather.com trying to play a trick on me that I don't get... "Hmmmm... let's call this one "scattered" and that one "isolated" and this one over there we'll call "distantly detached and emotionally unavailable" and..."
Crazy weatherman - same chance of thirty percent of rain on Friday and Saturday, but one is scattered and one isolated. Now, I've been to a party where there's like one guy over in the corner and I'd say he's Isolated. Then, if he were to pass gas, we could see how fast the people at the party would scatter to isolated corners. Either way, I doubt it would rain indoors.
