Is it an attention deficit....

Or is it a truly philosophical thought process?  Sometimes I kinda like to call it brain vomit.  Sounds really gross, I know.  But what I'm talking about is when you're not really thinking about anything in particular, and suddenly you're hit with something that almost stops you in your tracks.  I've heard this one before, as I'm sure others have, but "if it was a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...", why are they speaking English?  Today I was hit with this one.  The word 'decease' means die.  The word 'cease' means to stop.  I looked up the prefix 'de-' in the dictionary, and it said "do the opposite of".  Wouldn't that mean 'decease' could be translated as 'to not stop' or 'to not die'?  I'm not sure if that means that I'm observant and/or open-minded, or if it means I should pay more attention to driving.  There are others like this one, sometimes several a day.  I think I might try to put more of them on here if only for amusement purposes.  If and or when I remember them- usually they are forgotten quickly due to the phone ringing or something catches my eye.

As I continue to write this blog, I am completely confidant that I will most assuredly confess and prove my geek status to anyone that wants a laugh.  That being said, ever play Sudoku?  Personally, I'm addicted.  As long as I don't see something shiny out of the corner of my eye.

When I decided to attempt keeping a blog, I noticed that there are lots and lots of people able to submit to their blogs on a daily or weekly basis.  Daily entries would be extremely difficult, as I consider my day-to-day activities fairly boring, so I thought I may be able to try for something weekly.  However, in the last two weeks I have 1) been sick for a week and a half, and 2) started working longer hours to accommodate my company's work load as well as losing another employee.  (No, he didn't die, just moved.)  The only conclusion that I can come up with is that I will write whenever I can or have something interesting (or not) to say.  Sounds good enough to me.

Hey look something shiny. Don't feel alone about the random thoughts that pop up in your head. I get random nonsense all the time and then it starts an internal argument with myself after I am thoroughly flustered I just say fuck it and turn on some cartoons.
