It's been a while

This isn't quite what I had in mind when I said I would post when I could.  However, it seems that this time of year is still stacking up against me when it comes spending time the way I would like to.  Add on top of that I was sick again.  This time for close to two weeks, with Thanksgiving right in the middle.  I was pissed.  I missed out on two of my normal three really good meals this year.  C'est la vie.  Another fine addition to the pile of things against me would be the things my 15-year-old step-son is doing, or not doing in the case of school work.  Oh, the joys of family

Is it an attention deficit....

Or is it a truly philosophical thought process?  Sometimes I kinda like to call it brain vomit.  Sounds really gross, I know.  But what I'm talking about is when you're not really thinking about anything in particular, and suddenly you're hit with something that almost stops you in your tracks.  I've heard this one before, as I'm sure others have, but "if it was a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...", why are they speaking English?  Today I was hit with this one.  The word 'decease' means die.  The word 'cease' means to stop.  I looked up the prefix 'de-' in the dictionary, a

Random Crap

Ok, so there's nothing truly mind-boggling or thought provoking on my mind this week.  Not that I really ever have some great epiphanies or anything, just the fact that there is not much exciting right now.

First thoughts and impressions....

OK, so this is my first blog entry.  My first blog entry anywhere, ever.  I'm not certain of what it is that i want to write about, I just seem to have some sort of attraction to want to do something.  It may not even turn out, but I feel like I should at least try something new.
