Tickets went very fast when the registration went live at the Pit Cell web page at 4 pm est this afternoon. Both the LA and NYC events were sold out within minutes, though if you live in Sydney Australia, you can still score a place in line.
So now my delima is this. I have plans to spend the day with my girl tomorrow here in Boston. This event kicks off at 10 am in NYC. I have to be back here in Boston by 6pm to host the final PAXEast Boston Community Meet-up at my place. The question is, can I do this? And who wants to come with me? I have a ticket good for two people and my girl has no interest in making such a crazy "down and back" roadtrip, especially considering the weather (mixed rain and snow) predicted for Saturday. I have sent out the word to my partner in crime Avatrix to see if he can join in this adventure. If he is not available, I may need a co-pilot to make sure I don't pass out on the return drive. Anyone interested?
Also found today was an "official" Space Paranoids webpage embedded within the Google sites community. For those of you familiar with TRON legacy, you will know that Space Paranoids was the game that made fictiional computer programmer Keven Flynn famous in the movie tron. Though this page is pretty sparse on content currently, it does host some pretty cool pics.
As you can tell, I am getting pretty sucked into this TRON ARG, so stay tuned for more updates and hopefully a full report from the NYC event on Saturday.
Here is a report over at FilmEdge about the madness that ensued as these tickets went on sale.
