Hey everyone,
I hope you’ve all had a great week. As I've stated, these messages will continue to evolve to include more and varied info as we move forward. For this week I have recap of some of the bigger Halo news of the past week and some details on Waypoint's newest Saturday content -- an exclusive Grifball machinima series created by amazing team at Rooster Teeth (Thanks, guys). Enjoy...
Rooster Teeth’s Grifball: Expansion
This Saturday, Waypoint will premiere the first of three episodes in the new Grifball mini-series from the fine folks at Rooster Teeth. Titled, Grifball: Expansion, the series was developed by Rooster Teeth exclusively for Waypoint and tells the story of Team Slipspace and their confrontation with the newest addition to the International Grifball League of Earth. Can the worst team in professional Grifball beat an expansion team? Maybe… Maybe not?
"Grifball: Expansion" Episode Premiere Schedule
Episode 1 – Saturday, February 20
Episode 2 – Saturday, February 27
Episode 3 - Saturday, March 6
This image is a still from Grifball: Expansion’s first episode and features the members of Team Slipspace.
The trailer for Grifball: Expansion is currently available for viewing on both the Waypoint console experience and our Halo Waypoint YouTube channel…

Also, X10, which took place in San Francisco last week, brought with it slew of new info on Halo: Reach, including the announcement of the start date for the multiplayer Beta (May 3, 2010), the release of Bungie’s first Reach ViDoc, “One More Unto the Breach,” and the unveiling of the Halo: Reach visual ID.
Aside from highlighting this information on the console version of Waypoint, we will also be updating the TRANSMISSION page of halowaypoint.com with new information, such as the items listed above, weekly...
Additionally, I want to thank bs angel (aka Hawty McBloggy) for working with us to create a special Valentine’s Day-themed screenshot gallery. The gallery was released on Waypoint last Sunday and showcases a variety of images from Halo 3, each with its own connection to the lighter side of intergalactic combat – angel wings, hearts, hugs and even a tender kiss. If you haven’t seen the gallery yet, I suggest you give it a look. And be on the lookout for future screenshot galleries compiled by bs angel, as we hope to make this a regular feature on Waypoint.
