I snagged two nice boxed games for the Sega Master System (Time Solders and Double Dragon), one fairly common game for the NES (Jackal - think Commando on Wheels) and the something I have been looking for for a while, I nice Coleco Pocket Football game. I used to own and play all the Coleco Handhelds when I was in elementary school. These games are very simple - typically you move LED dots around a play field - but somehow, back then, I could spend countless hours on these things. Now I just need to get the basketball and baseball "Head no Head" versions to go with it.
Yesterday, I traded my NEO GEO Conversin Cab to get my Sega Genesis Dedicated cab back from the guy who owns the comics book shop where I work with classic video games. You may remember that I sold him this cab to raise funds for my Robotron cab, something I don't regret, but which always hurt a little. Well this baby is now back where she belongs (in my basement arcade) and isn't leaving again any time soon. This cab runs off of a Series II Sega Genesis console and plays any Genesis Cart. The sides are done up very nicely with Gargoyles artwork. I still have not found much information on this game or how many were produced by Beuna Vista Games. Either way, I love this cab. Now I just have to find a nice NEO GEO "Big Red" dedicated cab to replace the one that I traded.
